1.Hello, please tell me a little bit about yourself and your interests.
This is Capt. Shekhar Gupta , CEO of AirCrews Avaition Private Limited . I am a professional pilot with more than 8 years of experience of flying on fourteen different types of Aircrafts in ten different countries with an accident free flying record. Our interests are to make our students more expert in this field of aviation and develop team working skills. Also Provides Internship in different departments.
2. What gave you a motivation to start and continue working at this field of work.
Becoming a pilot makes you smarter. I gained knowledge that I never thought I would need to know. It gave me traveling opportunities, meeting new people, opportunity to develop my career, lifestyle benefits.
3. In your opinion , what is the secret to a successful career at Aviation.
Secret to a successful career at aviation is - Do think about your goals
Do know your worth
Don't give up.
4. What are your goals over the next 10 months.
As I started my career my goal was to develop my skills and offer myself new responsibilities as I progress. In the next 10 months I expect some of these responsibilities might involve managing others which is the direction in which I'd like my career to develop.
5. How does the epidemic COVID-19 reflects at your career and the whole sector you work in? How you and your colleagues are dealing with these challenges.
COVID- 19 pandemic has impacted demand for air travel, and the airline industry is responding to the national emergency by decreasing flight and hiring activity.
We and our colleagues are dealing with bravery and with full efforts and are working in a team so that we can provide training to students.
6. What is the future of Aviation?
The Aviation sector is growing Slow after CoVid19 and will continue to grow but very slowly. The most recent estimates suggest that demand for air transport will increase by an average of 0.3% per annual over the next 10 years. Slow Aviation Growth is a New Normal. Pilots and other Aviation professionals need to work for Half Pay Double work now.
