ATTENDANCE WEEKENDS-
You begin your studies in September or January and may. Lecture times are usually:  
Friday 3:30pm – 9pm
Saturday 8:30am – 3:30pm

Additionally, once a semester there is a block week. The block week allows intensive interaction between lecturers and students, also providing the students with the opportunity for dialogue and integration. The block week can be recognised as educational leave.

MODULAR STRUCTURE-
All subjects are taught in theme blocks – so called modules – and end with an examination.  

SELF-STUDY-
You extend your knowledge of the subject areas presented in the attendance phase by studying course material yourself with the help of teaching materials made available to you via our learning portal. The time you need for learning depends on your previous knowledge, your learning situation and your individual learning speed. It would be advisable to allow approx. ten hours a week for self-study, working with the teaching materials and preparing for the examination.  

In addition, we support self-study with so called contact seminars. These are held by our university professors and are intended to help students extend their knowledge using recaps or project coaching. Contact seminars are usually offered in the evening, are optional and do not require the presence of students and lecturers.
