Quantify your impact. "Improved website loading speed by optimizing images and reducing unnecessary JavaScript" is far more convincing than "Improved website performance." Real numbers add credibility.
Use clear job titles. "Web Development Intern" reads better to both humans and software than a creative title like "Technology Explorer."
Keep contact info simple. Name, phone, email, LinkedIn, GitHub, and portfolio link — no clutter. For developers, a GitHub and portfolio are especially valuable since they let recruiters see real work.
Submit in an ATS-friendly file. Follow whatever format the employer requests. If none is specified, a PDF with selectable, searchable text works well — avoid image-based resumes that ATS software can't parse.
