Air New Zealand Limited is the flag carrier Airline of New Zealand. Virgin Atlantic

Virgin Atlantic, a trading name of Virgin Atlantic Airways Limited and Virgin Atlantic International Limited, is a British Airline with its head office in Crawley, England. The Airline was established in 1984 as British Atlantic Airways, and was originally planned by its co-founders Randolph Fields and Alan Hellary to fly between London and the Falkland Islands. Soon after changing the name to Virgin Atlantic Airways, Fields sold his shares in the company after disagreements with Richard Branson over the management of the company. The maiden Flight from Gatwick Airport to Newark International Airport took place on 22 June 1984.

In July 2017, Virgin Atlantic announced its intention to form a joint venture with Air France–KLM, but in December 2019, it was announced that the joint venture would not include a stake in the company.

On 5 May 2020, it was announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Airline would lay off 3,000 staff, reduce the fleet size to 35 by the summer of 2022, retire the Boeing 747-400s and would not resume operations from Gatwick following the pandemic.

Virgin Atlantic filed for Chapter 15 Bankruptcy Protection in New York on 4 August 2020 as part of a £1.2 billion private refinancing package.

Eva Air

EVA Air operates a mixed fleet of Airbus and Boeing Aircraft, with Airbus A330, Airbus A321, Boeing 777, Boeing 787, and ATR 72 (operated by UNI Air) Airliners primarily used on passenger routes, along with Boeing 777 freighter Aircraft used on cargo routes.[5] The Airline was one of the first carriers to introduce the Premium Economy class (previously called Elite Class by EVA Air), which it debuted in 1991.

Virgin AUSTRALIA

Virgin Australia, the trading name of Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd, is an Australian-based Airline. It is the largest Airline by fleet size to use the Virgin brand. It commenced services on 31 August 2000 as Virgin Blue, with two Aircraft on a single route.[3] It suddenly found itself as a major Airline in Australia's domestic market after the collapse of Ansett Australia in September 2001. The Airline has since grown to directly serve 32 cities in Australia, from hubs in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

The Airline's headquarters is based in South Bank, Queensland. It was co-founded by British businessman Richard Branson (the founder of Virgin Group), who resides in the British Virgin Islands on his own Necker Island, and former CEO Brett Godfrey.

On 21 April 2020, Virgin Australia Holdings went into voluntary administration, due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and financial troubles in the years leading up to the pandemic.[7] On 26 June 2020, it was announced that Bain Capital had entered into a sale and implementation deed with administrator Deloitte to acquire Virgin Australia.[8] Creditors agreed to this proposal on 4 September 2020, with the reorganisation and change of ownership completed on 17 November 2020.
