You are what, You Dream You are 

A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, although they have been a topic of scientific, philosophical and religious interest throughout recorded history. This is a bookish or scientific definition of dream but there's no definitive evidence about what dream is or what it consist of, but it's generally accepted that dreams represent a collection of thoughts, struggles, emotions, events, people, places and symbols that are relevant to the dreamer in some way.

Dreams reflect subconscious desires, of what we are or what we want to become. If there are no dream in someone's life, it's equally to having no ambition in life. Because if one don't dream to become something or achieve something, then the life is meaningless.

Your dreams mirror your thoughts. It is your subconscious. By pushing a message into your subconscious it will be a part of your dreams. Once you have pushed your thoughts into your subconscious you will start dreaming about solutions.
You will then start to see changes in the world around you and before long you will become what you have dreamed about.

But if you have never dreamt of something or anything in your life, then firstly you should dream of a goal and then Get your subconscious work on your goal, it will bring you closer to success because your subconscious works on solutions 24 hours/day every day.

It will present you with new ideas, insights and plans. Remember that the most important thing is that you act on these ideas and insights, because no plan ever mattered that wasn’t put into action.

How to Dream and dream creatively

Dreams… we all have them. Or, so we say.
Often, we keep our dreams in check because we don’t want to be disappointed.
We limit them. We hold back. And we settle for less.
Most people don't dream or dream too small.
The reason is that if we set our goals low, we will be more likely to achieve them. And we will be happy when we exceed them.
The problem with this thinking is that will are not allowing ourself to reach our true potential. We are limiting our actions. And we are settling for whatever small measure of accomplishment we achieve.
We all know there’s no guarantee that we will achieve what we dream about, but by dreaming at least we can increase the likelihood that we can or will.
If you are unsure of what your dream might be—either because you are afraid to dream or because you somehow lost your dream along the way—then start preparing yourself to receive your dream by exploring the following:
🔹Mental preparation: Read and study in areas of your greatest interest.
🔹Experiential preparation: Engage in activities in areas related to your interests.
🔹Visual preparation: Put up pictures of people and things that inspire you.
🔹Hero preparation: Read about and try to meet people you admire and who inspire you.
🔹Physical preparation: Get your body in optimal shape to pursue your dream.
🔹Spiritual preparation: Seek God’s help for a bigger-than-self dream.

Once you do these six things to put yourself in the best possible position to receive a dream, focus on discovering your dream.

Think Big, Dream Bigger
Today, I want you to not only think about your dream, but ask yourself whether it is big enough.
Are you shooting high enough? Are you clear on what you want to accomplish?
Or are you settling on your hopes and aspirations?
When it comes to your dreams… think big, dream bigger!

Social media's growing impact on our lives



Social media use has skyrocketed over the past decade and a half. Whereas only five percent of adults in the United States reported using a social media platform in 2005, that number is now around 70 percent.

Growth in the number of people who use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat and other social media platforms — and the time spent on them—has garnered interest and concern among policymakers, teachers, parents, and clinicians about social media's impacts on our lives and psychological well-being.When it comes to teens, a recent study by Jean Twenge, PhD, professor of psychology at San Diego State University, and colleagues found that, as a cohort, high school seniors heading to college in 2016 spent an “ hour less a day engaging in in-person social interaction” — such as going to parties, movies, or riding in cars together — compared with high school seniors in the late 1980s. As a group, this decline was associated with increased digital media use. However, at the individual level, more social media use was positively associated with more in-person social interaction. The study also found that adolescents who spent the most time on social media and the least time in face-to-face social interactions reported the most loneliness.

Hall cites the work of danah boyd, PhD, principal researcher at Microsoft Research and the founder of Data & Society. “She [boyd] says that it's not the case that teens are displacing their social face-to-face time through social media. Instead, she argues we got the causality reversed,” says Hall. “We are increasingly restricting teens' ability to spend time with their peers . . . and they're turning to social media to augment it.”According to Hall, both phenomena could be happening in tandem — restrictive parenting could drive social media use and social media use could reduce the time teens spend together in person — but focusing on the latter places the culpability more on teens while ignoring the societal forces that are also at play.



What about teens?

The evidence is clear about one thing: Social media is popular among teens. A 2018 Common Sense Media report found that 81 percent of teens use social media, and more than a third report using social media sites multiple times an hour. These statistics have risen dramatically over the past six years, likely driven by increased access to mobile devices. Rising along with these stats is a growing interest in the impact that social media is having on teen cognitive development and psychological well-being.

It’s been said that information is power. Without a means of distributing information, people cannot harness the power. One positive impact of social media is in the distribution of information in today’s world. Platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others have made it possible to access information at the click of a button.

Research conducted by parse.ly shows that the life expectancy of a story posted on the web is 2.6 days, compared to 3.2 days when a story is shared on social media. That’s a difference of 23%, which is significant when you consider that billions of people use the internet daily.This means that the longer the information is in circulation, the more discussion it generates and the greater the impact of social media.

1. Where We Get Our News


If you're like me, each morning before checking Yahoo! or Google News or an online newspaper site like USA Today or CNN, you first look at the stories your friends and people that you follow are sharing via Twitter or Facebook. After all, you didn't choose the editors at newspapers and other publications, but you did choose the people and groups that you follow on Twitter, Facebook, or other social networks.

2.How We Start and Do Business


It is easier than ever to start and launch a business today, in great part thanks to social media. We can not only locate potential collaborators and employees through interest-focused Facebook groups, Twitter searches, and niche social networks, but perhaps more importantly, social media gives people who have time, but little money for advertising, the chance to engage with others and promote their business. A recent article in the New York Times concluded, "For many mom-and-pop shops with no ad budget, Twitter has become their sole means of marketing."

3. How We Meet and Stay in Touch with People


People certainly still meet others at social venues like clubs and parties, but it is easier than ever to discover people who share our interests through social media, whether that means via groups on Facebook or following people on Twitter. Even if your interests lie in an obscure area, like 15th century poetry in France or Nepalese art, there is probably a Facebook group about it, and a Twitter search will likely turn up other people talking about the same subject.

Of course, there is only so much communication that can happen through a social network, but via Tweetups and other in-person events, people are expanding these online interactions to face-to-face meetings. The introductions are initially made through social networks, then people develop the relationship using phone calls and in-person meetings.

4. What We Reveal


The old paradigm in communication was that people generally revealed very little of their fears and doubts. They tried to present the image of themselves to other people as completely confident and knowledgeable. The goal was to make sure that you appeared like you were always in complete control. But this is shifting, in part, because of social media. The paradigm is now no longer to try to appear perfect, but to be more transparent with your thoughts and feelings, to reveal your humanness.

It used to be a big deal that Oprah had over 20 million people watch her show every week or that the New York Times was read by millions of people, and while these large media outlets still control much of our attention, now with social media, power is increasingly more widespread. So-called mainstream media is no longer always the driving influencer of public opinion.

On Twitter, some individuals now have a million or more followers, Facebook Pages can also have hundreds of thousands of fans, and YouTube videos can get millions of views when they go viral. Most of this content is coming from regular people, rather than big, corporate-owned media organizations. For example, people like occasional Mashable guest writer Brandon Mendelson, who has over 950,000 followers on Twitter, have used social media to increase their influence beyond what was possible for "regular people" in the past.
