How to Work Faster and Smarter by Isha Srivastava [MBA-HR] Manager HR Aircrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd.

How to Work  Faster and Smarter
by
Isha Srivastava [MBA-HR]     Manager HR   Aircrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd.

Do you want to work faster and smarter? It seems like an impossible task when you to-do list is as long as your arm and the work is still piling up, but the reality is that often the common methods we choose when working are not the most productive ones.
1.   AVOID MULTITASKING
Although a small amount  of people are great at multitasking just reduces efficiency. Doing two task at once means you are more likely to make little mistakes, as your brain is jumping from task to task. Focus on one task and fully complete it before moving on to the next one in order to produce better quality work in same amount of time – or less!
2.   TURN OFF YOUR NON ESSENTIAL TECHNOLOGY
Nowadays technology is a huge part of most people’s working day,but in real it can slow you down. When are you most productive during your working day?Whether it is in the morning or early in the afternoon, schedule two hours to put your phone on silent and switch off your email notifications.      You can ring and email people back once the time is over, but during that time you will work faster because you choose to only focus on your work.

3.   SHUT THE DOOR WHILE YOU WORK
Many companies have an open door policy at work to encourage openness. However, if ou want to work faster, close your door for atleast few hours during the day. Interruption and distractions are much more likely to happen if the door is open, so cut out the temptation if you want to have an extra productive day.

4.   SET A FINISH TIME
If you know you will be leaving the office at 6, it will help you work more efficiently until then. Knowing you have a deadline will help you to prioritize tasks, as well as making you less likely to procrastinate.

5.   PRE-PLAN BREAKS
Taking a short breaks helps you to stay focused so that you work faster and smarter. If you don’t schedule them into your day, you can end up taking breaks that are too long, or not taking any at all, which can result in you becoming stressed or working to a lower standard.                                                   Try to spend your break productively – stretch your legs and make a cup of tea, rather than logging onto Facebook.

Difference between being Successful and being Happy by Shaivali Tripathi MBA Manager HR AirCrews Aviation Pvt Ltd

What is the Difference between being Successful and being Happy?
What is Success?
Is it wealth? Is it happiness? Is it fame?
Success simply means attempting to move forward.
If you believe you can, you will succeed. Self-belief doesn’t come naturally to everyone, so if you’re able to tell yourself that you can achieve the goals in your plans, you’re doing great.
Success can be achieved when you try your best in all aspects of everything you do, even if that doesn’t lead to big results. If you’ve done your best, you should feel proud of your efforts.

What is Happiness?
Many people believe that happiness is having fun at a party, the excitement of new experiences,or the delights of a fine meal. These are all wonderful experiences to be cherished and cultivated but they are not happiness.
These experiences are the definition of pleasure.
if happiness is not the same thing as pleasure, then what is happiness?
happiness comes when you feel satisfied and fulfilled. Happiness is a feeling of contentment, that life is just as it should be. Perfect happiness, enlightenment, comes when you have all of your needs satisfied.
Now the question arises are the successful person always happy?
Success and happiness are two entirely different concepts so doesn’t necessarily mean that a successful person will always be happy or vice versa.
For me real success is doing whatever you want, whenever you want but for happiness you need company to share your happiness with, you need people that really care for you, feel for you.  A successful person will have something else to achieve, if he is not satisfied with his success he won’t be happy. As the life goes our desire to stay happy never ends . You will have lot of obstacles coming through your way.
Our achievements have their own set point. When we achieve them, we feel happy but this happiness doesn’t often last. Once the condition is met, we start looking for that next goal to pursue.
To understand this concept more we should know the difference among these two :
Happiness is a goal that many people aspire to. Most people also have a strong desire to be successful in life and they tend to believe that through this success they will automatically become happier.
While we may never know with 100% certainty which one is more important, we do know that success and happiness are inextricably linked.
- Success means living a life with plans. Happiness is living a life with passion.
- Success is working for your own betterment. Happiness is working for others.
- Success means striving for more. Happiness is being contented with whatever you have.
- Success is having enough wealth. Happiness is in having healthy relationships.
- Success goal is Winning at any cost
Happiness is doing things the “right way” and having a clear conscience
- Success focus on obsessed with material possessions
Happiness focus on keeping good karma front and center

Which One is More Important?
When it comes right down to it, success and monetary wealth don’t necessarily equate to happiness and security.
It doesn’t do you much good in terms of your level of happiness if you are successful monetarily, but miserable in your personal life.
On the other hand, you may be incredibly happy with your personal life or other relationships, but still struggling with success or struggling financially.
Both of these indicators are interconnected in a sense. Happiness affects your level of success and your level of success affects your happiness.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
Success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get.

BE A GOOD LEADER AND ITS IMPORTANCE- By PATRICIA PERSIS EMMANUAL

WHAT IT IS TO BE A GOOD LEADER AND ITS IMPORTANCE-
By
PATRICIA PERSIS EMMANUAL
It’s important to demonstrate an original personal understanding of leadership concept and provide impressive illustrative examples taken from today’s real life or history. That’s the
best thing to do when reviewing various leadership qualities. All business owners and executives have varying experiences and perspectives on the approach and qualities necessary for
effective leadership. And not all situations require the same type of leadership style. Great leaders adapt to their surrounding environments and empower the team to succeed together.
Many experts across countless leadership books and articles agree on certain principles required for leading a team to greatness, but when it comes down to it, the most important factor is
whether or not the leader is getting the job done.
My philosophies on leadership have evolved over time through research, experiences in combat as a Navy SEAL and from my successes and failures running my own businesses. I believe that the
best leaders are passionate about developing the emerging leaders around them, they constantly work to improve their emotional intelligence and know that a strong team culture is the foundation
for accomplishing the mission. They are in a perpetual state of preparation and embrace the inevitable changes their businesses will face.
When we take an in-depth look at history, we see countless leadership qualities that were adopted by both good and bad leaders. When writing what are the qualities of a good leader, you
should focus on the characteristics and strengths of a leader, and how they help influence and motivate other people along with achieving their own goals.
These are emotional and behavioral characteristics of well-known leaders that helped them succeed:
1.Vision – effective leaders have exciting ideas, they usually are forward-looking, and have excellent strategic planning skills.
2.Communication – communicating ideas clearly and concisely is essential to ensure teamwork towards the same goal.
3.Integrity – they are honest and can always tell the truth in any situation.
4.Confidence – they dare to take risks to achieve their goals and never give up.
5.Responsiveness – good leaders value their team, listen to people they lead, and quickly change their behavior to match different situations.
6.Determination – good leaders are passionate about what they do and can motivate people by demonstrating their own commitment.
7.Empathy is the most important skill which allows to create strong bonds of trust and build successful teams.
8.Have Faith in Their Beliefs
"It's a mix of a lot of things, but first and foremost it's about having faith in your beliefs. You can't expect others to consider you a leader unless you have solid faith in your ideas.
And once it's there, you build on it by being a good communicator, listening to others, setting examples and by putting your best foot forward and not giving up. Leadership is all about being
passionate about what you do, and having confidence in yourself and your followers whom you have to motivate and inspire."
9.Make the Hard Choice
“Great leaders make the hard choice, and self-sacrifice in order to enhance the lives of others around them. As a business owner, not only does your family rely on you - so too, do the
families of those who work for you. Each employee has a family. Even if you're a small business owner with four employees, you're in essence potentially responsible for an additional ten or fifteen people.”
10.Earn the Respect of the Team
“Having the ability to show respect, empathy, and care to those that follow you, are all attributed to being a great leader. Earning respect is crucial to a successful relationship with
someone, while also showing that you care about their work or ideas. Being empathetic allows a leader to tap into the emotions of that individual in order to connect in a way that lets that
a person knows you understand what it means to be in their situation. Combining all three of these traits can definitely make someone a great leader.
11.Know the Team
"Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of every individual to effectively manage the outcome of a team is imperative for success. Leaders have a great vision and use the resources at hand
to solve problems. They take risks and make hard decisions, knowing they could sometimes be wrong. Those are the most important qualities of a real leader that work similarly in our professional
and personal lives."
12.Articulate a Clear Vision
“A great leader possess a clear vision, is courageous, has integrity, honesty, humility and clear focus. He or she is a strategic planner and believes in teamwork. Great leaders help people
reach their goals, are not afraid to hire people that might be better than them and take pride in the accomplishments of those they help along the way.”
13.Push People to Be Their Best
"Great leaders have clarity of purpose and are great at articulating their beliefs. I aspire to be the kind of leader that pushes people to be the very best they can be but still make
people feel safe because it starts with the heart."
14.Serve a Greater Cause
“Great leadership is determined by one’s periodical blend of personal humility and unparalleled will to lead others in service of a cause bigger than themselves. Great leaders are incredibly
ambitious, but never for themselves. Rather, they are ambitious for the company and possess the will do do whatever is necessary in service of this greater cause.”
15.Do Not Lead by Force
“A great leader does not lead by forcing people to follow. Instead, a great leader motivates people. They encourage others to follow them. They also lead by example, which few leaders do
today.”

Dream Big Work Smart

DREAM BIG & WORK SMART
Some people dream of success, while other people get up every morning and make it happen”
So many people live within unhappy situations and circumstances. We often get used to the negative situations we are in and we get comfortable and secure. Some individuals make it a habit to complain that others have more than them, or that others have it better and easier. The truth is…a lot of people want to be successful until they see what it actually takes to get there. If you want to change your life, then start setting goals and make a realistic plan to achieve it. Give up on excuses and let go of your past. Start with what you have now and take responsibility for your actions. Stop wallowing in the blame game and victim cycle. Be grateful for what is going right in your life and what you are blessed with and be happy for others. Learn from successful people and adopt their work ethics. If you want to be like them, then you have to start working like them. Moreover, adopt their mindset, learn from their mistakes, improve and be better. If you want to achieve a goal, then put in extra hours to get where you want to be.  In other words, don’t let your circumstances define who you are, where you are and what you do. Define yourself!
People who wake up without a plan often procrastinate as half of their day is already gone by the time they start doing their work. Do you set goals?  I set new goals regularly and I revaluate my methods to progress. Start evaluating your life too. Look back at the progress you have made so far and the “mistakes” you have made before. Learn from the past and figure out a plan so you can avoid the setbacks this time around. Be honest with yourself. Start thinking about how you want to change or improve your habits and methods. You don’t need to be perfect! Let go of thoughts that inhibit your growth.
“A goal should scare you a little and excite you a lot.” – Joe Vitale.Do you wake up every morning and feel excited for what you will be doing? What would you like to do more of in your life right now? Set goals that make you want to get out of bed in the morning and work smart to achieve them. Moreover, your goals should reflect your values. Start by using S.M.A.R.T goals setting. Set Specific and Measurable goals. By adding details to your goals, you are developing a clear understanding of what has to be achieved. Be realistic and break your bigger goals into mini goals. Make a programme and set time every week to work on each goal. Moreover, start to think about the specific things you would need in order to achieve these goals. Set a goal accomplishment date for your goal and start by writing down at least three actions steps for each goal to meet your own deadlines (you can add more as you progress). Track your habits and progress. Additionally, visualize your goals! Make a vision board and write down your goals for the year in your personal planner. This is so important!
"DREAM BIG! THERE ARE NO LIMITATIONS TO HOW GOOD YOU CAN BECOME OR HOW HIGH YOU CAN RISE EXCEPT THE LIMITS YOU PUT ON YOURSELF"
The basic rule for success is for you to continue to remind yourself that you are where you are, and what you are because of yourself. You are in your current situation because you have decided to be there.
"Positive Thinking Will Change Your Life"
Here is another rule:  “If you want your life to get better, you have to get better.”
This simply means that your outer world will be a reflection of your inner world. If you want your outer world to improve, you must go to work on improving your inner world.
The great tragedy is that the world is full of people who are trying to change the outside world without going to work on the one thing that they can control, their own thinking!
"Change Your Thinking"
Here is another rule: “If you change the quality of your thinking, you change the quality of your life.”
And since you can change the quality of your thinking almost infinitely, there are no limits on how you can change and improve every part of your life, in any direction you want to go.
"The Power of Positive Knowing"
What is better than positive thinking is “positive knowledge.”
This is where you take the steps and do the things that bring you to the point where you absolutely know, with complete certainty, that you can achieve your goals and be the kind of success that it is possible for you to be.
"Dream Big, You Have No Limits"
A wise man once said, “You must dream big dreams for only big dreams have the power to move the minds of men.”
The starting point of great success and achievement has always been the same. It is for you to, “dream big dreams.”
There is nothing more important, and nothing that works faster than for you to cast off your own limitations and begin dreaming and fantasizing about the wonderful things that you can become and have and do.

"Success can mean different things to different people " we can choose to be defined by our past or we can work to improve our mindset to improve our present and future.
The First step is to be aware of our self-sabotage and the barriers that we have put in front of us. Accept that you are your worst enemy when it comes to organizing yourself for success.
Don’t blame others for your shortcomings, instead realize that the only person responsible for your future is you!

Believe You Can Succeed and You Will

BELIEVE YOU CAN SUCCEED AND YOU WILL-
by
PATRICIA PERSIS EMMANUAL

A few days ago, I came across Napoleon Hill’s quote, “What the mind of man can conceive and believe, the mind of man can achieve.”I believe that a great number of people have
read this quote, liked it, and were inspired by it. However, how many really thought about it, acted according to it, and achieved what they conceived in their mind?
If you can think about a certain goal, and if you believe you can achieve it, you will most probably achieve it, provided you add another ingredient to the equation, and that ingredient
is a strong desire. Without a strong desire, no one strives to achieve anything. You may daydream about owning a new car or a new house, traveling abroad, or becoming rich, but none would
come true, unless you have a strong desire to succeed. A strong desire pushes you forward, and gives you the motivation, energy and persistence to act, do things and succeed.
Every day, we use gadgets and instruments that were conceived in the minds of their inventors, who believed they could create them. The people, who invented the smartphone, the television,
cars and airplanes, conceived those inventions in their minds, believed they could create them, and had a strong desire to turn their ideas into reality. What the mind can conceive and
believe it can achieve is true in every area of life. It is true in simple everyday life, and it is true when you pursue a major goal. If you want to stop getting angry or stressed, and
believe you can do it, it becomes possible. When you want to learn a new language, and believe you can learn to speak it fluently, this becomes a reality. If you want to be rich, conceive an
idea how to do that, believe it and have a strong desire, this too, will eventually become a reality in your life. Some of the goals might be easier and faster to achieve than others, and
some might need time, perseverance and patience to achieve.Always remember that what the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve. Repeat this thought when you are discouraged, and when
you are about to quit and give up, and remember this whenever you have a dream you wish to achieve. You can achieve anything, if you believe you can achieve it, and do not let thoughts to the
contrary to enter your mind. Unfortunately, most people let negative thoughts and lack of belief have the upper hand. You may spend time every day daydreaming about starting a business and
achieving success. You may repeat affirmations and visualize your goal, and you may repeatedly visualize how your business is prospering. However, if you do not believe what you are thinking,
affirming or visualizing, and if you do not have a strong desire, what you want will remain as a dream and never become a reality. You need to know exactly what you want and be sure of this,
so that you do not have doubts and uncertainty lurking at the back of your mind and sabotaging your efforts.
You need to believe that you can get what you want.
You need to have a strong desire.
You need to persevere until you achieve what you want.
