Difference between being Successful and being Happy by Shaivali Tripathi MBA Manager HR AirCrews Aviation Pvt Ltd

What is the Difference between being Successful and being Happy?
What is Success?
Is it wealth? Is it happiness? Is it fame?
Success simply means attempting to move forward.
If you believe you can, you will succeed. Self-belief doesn’t come naturally to everyone, so if you’re able to tell yourself that you can achieve the goals in your plans, you’re doing great.
Success can be achieved when you try your best in all aspects of everything you do, even if that doesn’t lead to big results. If you’ve done your best, you should feel proud of your efforts.

What is Happiness?
Many people believe that happiness is having fun at a party, the excitement of new experiences,or the delights of a fine meal. These are all wonderful experiences to be cherished and cultivated but they are not happiness.
These experiences are the definition of pleasure.
if happiness is not the same thing as pleasure, then what is happiness?
happiness comes when you feel satisfied and fulfilled. Happiness is a feeling of contentment, that life is just as it should be. Perfect happiness, enlightenment, comes when you have all of your needs satisfied.
Now the question arises are the successful person always happy?
Success and happiness are two entirely different concepts so doesn’t necessarily mean that a successful person will always be happy or vice versa.
For me real success is doing whatever you want, whenever you want but for happiness you need company to share your happiness with, you need people that really care for you, feel for you.  A successful person will have something else to achieve, if he is not satisfied with his success he won’t be happy. As the life goes our desire to stay happy never ends . You will have lot of obstacles coming through your way.
Our achievements have their own set point. When we achieve them, we feel happy but this happiness doesn’t often last. Once the condition is met, we start looking for that next goal to pursue.
To understand this concept more we should know the difference among these two :
Happiness is a goal that many people aspire to. Most people also have a strong desire to be successful in life and they tend to believe that through this success they will automatically become happier.
While we may never know with 100% certainty which one is more important, we do know that success and happiness are inextricably linked.
- Success means living a life with plans. Happiness is living a life with passion.
- Success is working for your own betterment. Happiness is working for others.
- Success means striving for more. Happiness is being contented with whatever you have.
- Success is having enough wealth. Happiness is in having healthy relationships.
- Success goal is Winning at any cost
Happiness is doing things the “right way” and having a clear conscience
- Success focus on obsessed with material possessions
Happiness focus on keeping good karma front and center

Which One is More Important?
When it comes right down to it, success and monetary wealth don’t necessarily equate to happiness and security.
It doesn’t do you much good in terms of your level of happiness if you are successful monetarily, but miserable in your personal life.
On the other hand, you may be incredibly happy with your personal life or other relationships, but still struggling with success or struggling financially.
Both of these indicators are interconnected in a sense. Happiness affects your level of success and your level of success affects your happiness.
Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.
Success is getting what you want; happiness is wanting what you get.

Smart Leaders Vs Hard Workers by Shipra Kumari HR Manager Aircrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd.

SMART LEADER vs HARD WORKER
Smart Leaders Vs Hard Workers
by
Shipra Kumari  HR Manager Aircrews Aviation Pvt. Ltd.
Today's world is full of advent of digital platforms  and technologies. With this new advent, it totally shaken off the focus of the organisations that seems to be shifting from QUANTITY to QUALITY. Due to this, some organisations are started believing in the SMART workers as they are now becoming more successful than the HARD Leaders.
No doubt in this that the Leaders of today's modern world are seems tactful in making the decisions to the demands of the Buisness and the market place. It is really difficult to distinguish between Smart Leader and Hard Worker.
Once in a T20 Cricket match, a question arises that - "Who is better : The Player, who kept his wicket long enough and scored runs by taking Singles & Sweating it out through the match OR The one who stayed for a short time but scored 'Fours'  & 'Sixes' to get the same score. The meaning is hidden automatically in these lines. Inshort , Hard work is about doing things right but Smart work is more about how to do right things.
"Work Harder , Smarter Better"
We can't say, don't work hard as it then becomes a debatable topic. Work hard is always a Myth since many years but now the way in which the world is changing and adapting the new version of thinking being a Smart Leader.
To become a successful Leader, there is key i.e. have the ability to adapt to any situation and always evolve on your own strategy to come out but for that it requires both creativity and maintaining equations.
As you know in today's modern world , where everything is going to talk about being Smart right, just take an example of phone we use, it is fully clear that we want everything that is faster, cheaper and better.
Today the world we see is totally different, competition is now become ferocious and an innovation is creating the new markets and products. Consumers are eagerly willing to wait and want to pay for the good product, but if products don't deliver the promise then the consumer will not take time to reject. The market place has evolved into a smart, informed and a well-connected.
Hard work can be equated to operational excellence whereas smart work is more explained by strategic and creative thinking.
Let's take the term Smart Leader & Hard Worker, these term are the clinches' that are basically testify the one's approach & efforts towards the work or anything. It is just a change in the one's  certain circumstances and the context of the work that measures and make a person either a Smart Leader or a Hard Worker. These both the terms are not absolute to each other but most often it goes hand on hand.
To productively handle and manage the challenging work scenerio , one must have to come up with some creative ideas and better effective ways of getting the work done and even at the same time, always be ready to put whatever hard work that is required & necessary to complete and meet the challenge.
Traits like intelligence, ability, cognitive and adaptability are mostly often linked with the Smart Leaders . Indeed, whoever wishes to become successful in life, haa to mostly play the both rules i.e. being a Smart Leader as well as a Hard Worker. Being one of the two doesn't enough , one must be both.
"In the Name Of Smart Work, being a smart Leader , don't invent intelligent ways to escape hard work"
