What are Classified Sites?

 What are Classified Sites?

A classified website is one of the platforms for online advertising to promote products or services, connecting both buyers and sellers in one single entity. Classified portal is customized and distinguished to allow the users to search for relevant categories and sub-categories.

A classified website is one of the online advertising platforms that brings buyers and sellers together to promote items or services in a single entity. Users may create or search for advertisements using the Free Classified Ads and Paid Classified Ads tools.

It provides a platform to post an advertisement to sell anything online, if someone is interested in your item they will contact you, in simple words, classified websites act like a mediator between buyers and sellers, you can buy or sell used and new items or services online using classified site.

An online classified listing service is what online classifieds are. Advertisers can place advertisements for sales, services, or products. These classifieds are easily found by searching the internet. Before posting classified ads, it is recommended that you create an account with the company. Advertising with free accounts does not have to be expensive, as there are many classified-ad websites that allow free account posting. There is no better option for those looking to promote their businesses than placing a free ad in the local or national daily newspaper.

Remember to include as many keywords as you can in both the ad title and the ad content of your advertisement. If you follow these steps, you will increase your chances of being selected by the site search engine as well as by someone searching on the Internet.

Instead of attempting to make a hard sale from your ad, provide enough information to attract the person to visit your website. Your website is where you will be able to present all of the specific information about your product.

The Top 10 Classifieds Sites of India:

1. OLX

If you want to sell anything (from old cars to laptops or tablets to clothes to anything else!) you can go to OLX. Because of their big promotional campaign on TV, radio and newspapers —almost everyone knows about OLX in India. You can post ads free of cost to sell the items that you no longer need. Buyers can browse through the ads and they will be able to contact you if they find your offer interesting. OLX also has a popular mobile app.

2. Quikr

Quikr is also very popular. This is one of the older companies in India which entered free online classified ad business and made it big. They invite you to sell your used items and also you can post ads on anything else (like offering services, matrimonial etc.). You can sell off your old electronic devices, old mobile phones, or even those dusty classic books that you may or may not have read! The Internet can really help you in making some money.

3. Click.in

In addition to regular buy-n-sell stuff, this website provides a section on jobs. You can post your resume (aka CV) and also browse through the available vacancies. Go ahead! a suitable job is waiting for you just round the corner!

4. Sulekha

This website is also among the older efforts of creating a free classified online ad portal. Sulekha is pretty liberal in terms of categories of ads that it accepts; but it does not seem to accept matrimonial ads.

5. Craiglist

It’s an international player. Craiglist operates in more than 50 countries and I have personally noticed that in the UK, US and Canada; Craiglist is extremely popular. Now, they have created the India chapter of this website and it covers all major Indian cities. You can post ads for selling goods, services, property and jobs etc.

6. Clickooz

Clickooz allows you to post free ads to buy and sell flats, electronic items, mobile phones, garments, cars, services etc. They provide separate subdomains for each state in India. Almost all the traffic on this website comes from within India.

7. Locanto

Provides free classified ads for community, events, rental, jobs, personals, pets, real estate and vehicles etc.

8. KhojLe

KhojLe (Hindi for “do search”) advertises itself with the punchline “Deal directly”. They have organized free ads in the categories like Jobs, Education, Electronics, Property, Mobiles, Services, Matrimony, Vehicles and Everything Else

9. VivaStreet

With over one hundred thousand free advertisements already posted on it, VivaStreet is a high traffic website. Lots of people come here looking for ads that may suit their requirements.

10. Jagran Classifieds

This website is part of the big Jagran.com Hindi news portal. They allow you to put your ads online free of cost. What’s more? You can even publish your ads in the Dainik Jagran newspaper. That is also free of cost! They accept ads both in Hindi and English. You can type your ad in Hindi and go to the Jagran portal to publish it.

Transformational Leadership Advantages by Manisha Rewani

Transformational Leadership Advantages @Manisha Rewani

Transformational leadership is a leadership style that attracts everyone. Transformational leaders, thanks to their charisma and authority, will be able to achieve a very high level of productivity and maximum efficiency of subordinates since they satisfy the requirements of personal motives. Transformational leadership, like no other style, recognizes the needs and requirements of staff. So it is possible to achieve maximum motivation and followers are working on a righteous deed according to their opinion.

  • Gets the Employees Engaged

Getting the workforce motivated and engaged is pivotal in hitting the highest performance and productivity levels possible. A transformational leader should be great at realizing the needs of their followers, which helps them discover ways to inspire the staff to do their best.

  • Reduces the Turnover Costs

Transformational leaders keep employees more often and for longer compared to others. They also tend to be able to retain customers, clients and partners, thanks to their appeal. A good transformational leader will try to satisfy both the organization’s needs and their own simultaneously, this means all staff members feel they have a specific role to play, which in turn keeps them motivated and engaged while lowering the staff turnover costs.

  • Spots Gaps

One of the most vital elements of transformational leadership is the ability to spot problems or gaps in a goal or vision and come up with a viable solution. Also, transformational leaders can ‘sell’ the new solution to the staff members, which allows for quick adaptation.

  • Drives Change

In order for companies to stay afloat in this day and age, they need to be willing to change. Transformational leadership is advantageous in that it gets the workforce onboard and exhilarated about the new changes. These leaders can sell the idea of alterations better if they believe in the change themselves. This leads to every staff member hitting their full potential.

  • Boosts Morale

Many companies have been struggling with staff indifference or low morale in the workplace. Well, this can be easily changed with transformational leadership and HR services. That’s because it pays attention to strong, healthy relationships. Boosting morale leads to better relationships and ultimately higher productivity.

  • Creates Passion

Excitement is contagious. When you see others happy and having a good time, you instinctively want to share that experience. The same applies in the workplace. When employees see their leader excited about a new goal or project, they will become exhilarated as well. This results in better team spirit, better performance, higher productivity and less turnover of both the employees and clients.

  • Improves Communication

A concerning problem in most workplaces comes down to how leaders communicate with the staff. When the employees do not have the right information regarding their roles, the requirements of a project, and what the managers expect, they cannot do their work as intended.

A major benefit of transformational leadership is that managers have to give regular feedback to their team members to ensure they stay in the right direction. This prompts better communication and as a result, better results

  • Solves Problems

When compared to transactional leadership, it is easy to see why transformational leadership is way better. Transformational leadership's major aspect is promoting collaboration between team members. This allows them to learn more, be more creative and come up with new ideas more often than any other formula.

  • Encourages Learning

Transformational and inspirational leaders do more than simply work towards a final goal or company vision. They also encourage the workforce to learn new skills. At the end of the day, this builds a healthy working culture in the business or organization and results in better detail orientation and appealing results from the staff members

Consistency Is the Key to be a Successful Marketing Leader by Manisha Rewani

Consistency Is the Key  to be a Successful Marketing Leader

by Manisha Rewani

Consistency is a habit. This habit is all about investing in constant efforts to make incremental progress. To understand this better, consider a hypothetical scenario. Say you are trying to teach a child to identify different objects in the surrounding. The first attempt to do so may not yield any positive results. But if you give up at this stage, the child will never learn. Therefore, you will need to employ a consistent approach.

Consistency means, just like with anything, you need to strive to be consistent in your marketing efforts. It cannot be an on/off deal like the last diet you tried out. You need to be consistent in the quality, quantity, and message your marketing portrays. This will all in all add value to your marketing strategy.

  • Quality: Amazing quality, every time. Does the quality of your content waver? Then you run the risk of your readers dropping like flies and you not generating the leads you want.

  • Quantity: Consistently posting content to your blog and social profiles so that you are present and reachable to those you want to connect with. If you aren’t consistent in this area, then you don’t seem present to your potential customers, but absent and unimportant and not a valuable use of their time.

  • Message: Your message should be presented to your audience in the same fashion to get the same point across each time, in order to give them the value you set out to give. You can be creative in how you portray your message, but the idea needs to stay the same as to not confuse those who you are writing for.

The benefits of consistency

‘So what if I don’t post consistent content consistently? I still have content out there for my target audience.’ If you are asking this then you don’t know the perils of inconsistency on your marketing efforts. It can potentially destroy any of the efforts you have already made. Without consistency you will become stagnate and be a mere speck in the ever expanding sea of content. However, consistency will give you the leads you want, convert your leads to customers, and increase customer engagement and reviews.

  • Leads: Being consistent in the specific content you use for the position in the buyer's journey your audience is at is important to gain the leads you need for your business to grow. Educational content will help you capture the attention of the the audience you are writing for and you will in return be able to generate more leads from merely being consistent in using the same quality and quantity of content. You will then have created a pattern of trust from being consistent.

  • Customers: As you consistently provide quality content for your leads they will find you trustworthy and begin converting into customers. Consistency in being educational, using the language they use and meeting them where they are helps close leads into customers.

Engagement and Reviews: After they are customers, consistency is still important. It entices your customers to engage with you and leave you those coveted shiny reviews that can help the image of your business.

Leadership Advantages for Business Managers by Surabhi Chourasia

Leadership Advantages for Business Managers

by Surabhi Chourasia

Leadership is setting and achieving goals, tackling the competition, and solving problems decisively and quickly.

Leadership in business is the capacity of a company's management to set and achieve challenging goals, take fast and decisive action when needed, outperform the competition, and inspire others to perform at the highest level they can.

Individuals with strong leadership skills in the business world often rise to executive positions such as CEO (chief executive officer), COO (chief operating officer), CFO (chief financial officer), president, and chair.

Understanding Leadership

Leadership provides direction for a company and its workers. Employees need to know the direction in which the company is headed and who to follow to reach the destination. Leadership involves showing workers how to effectively perform their responsibilities and regularly supervising the completion of their tasks.

Leadership is also about setting a positive example for staff to follow, by being excited about the work, being motivated to learn new things, and helping out as needed in both individual and team activities.

Leadership involves setting and achieving goals, taking action, and beating the competition, but it also relates to the tone of the company's management and what kind of culture is built for the employees.

An Example of Leadership

Jack Welch exhibited leadership as chief executive officer (CEO) of General Electric Co. from 1981 to 2001. He played an integral part in 600 acquisitions in emerging markets and increased GE’s market value from $12 billion to $505 billion at the time of his retirement.

Because the world is constantly changing, Welch insisted everyone at GE embrace change. To continue evolving company operations and producing greater output, managers, and employees had to continuously reinvent themselves and their work.

Welch hired managers who shared his vision of GE, had endless amounts of energy, and were able to encourage employees to stay engaged in their work. He sought managers who created, developed, and refined ideas for the future and found ways to make them a reality. He also insisted that managers work side-by-side with employees as a way of understanding what they were doing and why.

As a result of Welch’s leadership style, managers and employees were more empowered, products gained higher quality, and customer satisfaction and profits increased dramatically.

Leadership advantages for business managers

In this day and age, organizations are going through a dynamic shift and adapting the importance of leadership. Modern companies are not only focusing on success, rather encouraging collaborative and team-minded environments. The best part – employees love this atmosphere! It promotes transparency, freedom of speech, and open communication.

However, leadership, the lifeline of business, doesn’t imply being the best in all. It isn’t necessary that an employee who is good at his work is a good leader too. In some cases, these individuals are promoted on the basis of their lifespan in the company.

Improves Productivity

Businesses with “high” productivity have one common thing – robust leadership. Through this, leaders motivate their teams to work more and contribute to their fullest potential. What’s more? They encourage them to push their boundaries and open their boxes of creativity.

When productivity reaches heights, the employees’ morale shoots up, and your customers get more bang on their buck. This means a happy customer and a healthy company! McDonald’s, for example, takes pride in having excellent customer service, which makes them stand out. Their staff isn’t trained about sales, but they’re coached to serve their customers and generate satisfaction.

Enables To Look at Opportunities

A visionary leader has the power to bring revolution. They tend to look at the big picture, keep a proactive approach and focus on the main goals. And almost all businesses benefit from these skills in a leader; they help the organization to step ahead in the race.

Take, for example, Nokia, Google, and Kodak; these giant companies haven’t tasted success merely because of their innovative ideas but also due to their leaders. Unique leadership has contributed to their success by spotting opportunities at the correct time.

Flourish Adapting Changes

Every now and then, organizations opt for changes. Being able to survive in these changes and flourishing requires determination. Broadly speaking, changes can make or break the moment for small and large organizations. If leaders are fearless, no one can stop organizations from tasting success.

To incorporate changes, seizing the power and creativity of employees in every department and level is the best way. Leaders can empower workers, and by using their capabilities, they can bring in a creative approach. Furthermore, they can encourage their teammates to embrace change and thrive in it.

Ensures Effective Communication

Looking at communication skills as a two-way street typically is a simple approach. Leadership communication, being a core function, not only consists of passing on information on regular processes, but it also includes the company’s culture and core values.

However, according to statistics, nearly 57% of employees report poor communication of directions by 69% of managers. Leaders who fall short in communication harm employees and the overall organization.

Conversely, a strong line of communication not just keeps the business afloat but also flourishes in the industry as a whole. A few ways to do so are – being honest, getting a little personal, keeping an open mind, listening properly, reading between the lines, and speaking to groups as individuals.

Leaders Train Other Leaders

Numerous companies look at the benefits of personal development. Great leaders always understand the need of developing themselves and others, resulting in a thriving organization. If good leaders develop other employees, there’s a high possibility of employers promoting confident employees. Thus, improving employee engagement and retention.

Furthermore, great leaders make great mentors. They not only like to succeed and pass on their knowledge and skills to others, but they also inspire their juniors to do the same.

Promotes Good Working Culture

Culture is a renowned, however, crucial jargon in the business world! In simple language, a company’s culture showcases its vision and personality. Furthermore, it displays its values, ethics, goals, and mission.

Great leaders support the positive working culture and direct their team members to walk on the same path, ensuring success for the business. In fact, companies should treat their employees the same way they treat their clients. That way, they prosper their business.

Efficiency In Resource Management

Resources develop business, and there’s no denial to it. It includes facilities, equipment, assets, and employees. Managing these resources is one of the leadership skills that leaders need to improve. This makes the future of business bright.

In 2018, LinkedIn discovered through the Workplace Learning Report that talent development leaders should determine and develop employee skills that bring success in the future. This gives a boost to the retention and holistic engagement of employees toward work. Additionally, it inculcates confidence.

Double Profits

Lastly, strong leadership and engaged employees create processes and systems, which are typically followed by others. They eliminate inefficiencies from the team, lowering operating expenses, meanwhile focusing on high productivity. Moreover, employees tend to work more when treated equally.

As a consequence, the company generates above 40% revenue per employee. As you scale up the leadership skill, the revenue generation goes higher than you’ve ever expected. And the business stays ahead in the competition.

How Can a Manager Showcase Good Leadership?

A simple list of actions is enough to develop good leadership qualities as a manager. Following are six of them:

Apply Equality: In a scheduled meeting, don’t show up late. However, even if you get late, be accountable enough to own up. Remember, leaders should lead by example.

Build Networks: Attempt building connections with the team, overall organizations, suppliers, and clients.

Be Honest: Whether you’re evaluating the performances of employees or providing feedback, keep honesty in mind. That’s the key!

Realistic And Optimistic: This might seem like a no-brainer, but actively remind yourself to be realistic with the target and expectations and, at the same time, stay optimistic.

Ask For Feedback: Yes, the valuable input of your team members gives you a way to find growth.

Develop Flexibility: The manager should be able to cope with constant changes. For that, a manager needs to adopt a flexible approach to looming challenges.
